Affiliate Disclosure

Last updated October 19, 2026

The short version: some links on this site are affiliate links. If you buy through them, we may earn a commission. It costs you nothing extra, and it does not change what we recommend.

How links are labeled

When a piece includes a product link, the link appears under a visible disclosure line in the same section — you can see the disclosure and the link on the same screen, without hunting. Outbound links also route through an intermediate page at /go, which shows the disclosure again before you continue to the destination.

For search engines, outbound links carry rel="nofollow sponsored" (for affiliate links) or rel="nofollow" (for other external links). That attribute is not visible to you as a reader — the visible disclosure lines described above are the ones meant for you.

What it does not change

  • Recommendations stand on their own reasoning. A piece earns its place in a guide because it fits the scene, not because of a commission rate.
  • We don't publish deal roundups, coupon pages, or "best of" lists assembled from commission feeds.
  • We don't accept payment for coverage, and we don't do sponsored posts.

Amazon

We are not an Amazon Associate, and we do not link to Amazon products. When product links appear, they point to the brand's own site through the /go page described above.

Prices

Prices and availability change. Where we mention a price, it is the price shown on the linked page when the piece was last checked — always verify the current price before buying. Pieces note when they were last verified.
